As mentioned in my 'Quaran-time' blog post, I have used this unprecedented time to learn many new recipes and add to my portfolio. Here I will show you most of my quarantine dishes (my favourite recipes are marked *), along with any links in case you want to try to make any yourself!
Breakfasts
- Eggs Royale*
Mains
- Stuffed Peppers / Aubergine*
- Tortilla (Spanish omelette)
- Chicken Pesto Pasta
- Picado (traditional Madeiran dish)
- Ratatouille*
Desserts
These were by far my favourite recipes to make as they were the easiest and yummiest!
- Cheesecake*
- Brownies*
Sides
- Focaccia*
- Tzatziki*
- Banana bread*
Digestifs
- Sangria
- Limoncello
- Poncha (a traditional Madeiran drink)
Although I usually don't usually have time to make new recipes (especially things like bread and pasta, which take hours), I have very much enjoyed learning to cook more things. For fool-proof (and delicious) recipes, I'd strongly recommend using BBC Good Foods and Mary Berry's cookbooks.
